iPhone benchmarks suggest JavaScript performance deficits

Iconfactory's Craig Hockenberry has benchmarked the performance of JavaScript on the iPhone against JavaScriot on an iMac, and then again against the native UIKit. The results definitely show the need for native iPhone apps.
